President’s Letter
December 13, 2017

Greetings fellow Skålleagues,

Well here we are, mid-December once again. Its hard to believe that another year is on its way out and a new one is just around the corner with all kinds of new adventures. Now that is something to look forward too. Anyway, let me get back on track. We wrapped up our year with another wonderful Holiday celebration at Benevento's. I believe those who were there will agree that the culinary team did an outstanding job. For those that couldn't join us you missed a good one, please know that you were missed. Bill Renzo kept us entertained and although we didn't do much dancing, because everyone was too busy bidding on our silent auction items, we were singing along.

Thank you to everyone that donated to the auction and special thanks to Michael and Lynda Reich for donated the wine for our wine pull. I would be amiss if I didn't give a shout out to Becky Reincke for being our live auctioneer, what a wonderful job she did.

During the evening, we had the privilege of officially welcoming Sally O'Connor as a new member of our Skål Club. Welcome aboard Sally, so glad you are with us.

Future news, our next dinner which will be on January 9, 2018 at the Doubletree Hotel in Deerfield Beach and is the Installation of Officers when you will have the opportunity to welcome your 2018 Executive Board and Directors.

With that said, this is my last official letter and it has been my honor and privilege to serve as your club President. As I sit here at the computer I realize that I have learned a lot from all of you and for that I am grateful and as I leave this position next month I know that your new board will move us forward under the leading hand of Lisa Hamilton and with your help will continue to build our membership. Thank you again for your trust and support.
