President’s Letter – March, 2007

Greetings Fellow Skålleagues!

For our March meeting, the club's members and guests enjoyed an "all you can eat" family style dinner at Mario's Restaurant in Boca Raton. With five courses of great Italian cuisine, everyone went home quite full. The club welcomed Ron Stevens back as a member as well as guests Judy Berlin, Shelia Schwartz , Art Stark, Nancy Kainer, Marie Wright and James Hanson.

Our annual Installation of Officers Dinner will be held at the Hilton Hotel at the Palm Beach Airport on April 17th. The black tie event will also celebrate our 30th anniversary as an active SKAL Club. Fred Ghadimi the Hilton's Vice President / General Manager Hotel Operations and Michael Wright the Hilton's Director of Sales & Marketing, both new SKAL members, have planned a very special evening for us. We will be joined at the dinner by Abelardo Vara the President of NAASC from Cancun. During the evening, in addition to inducting several new SKAL members into our club and the installation of the new officers for 2007, we will be honoring the 12 current members of our SKAL club who have served you as past Presidents. Please look at you travel schedules and make sure that you and your guest will be able to attend this important club function.

April 17, 2007 - we will be at the Airport Hilton in West Palm Beach
May 15, 2007 - we will be at the Cypress Creek Marriott in Ft. Lauderdale
June 19, 2007 - we will be at Rocky's Italian Bistro in Delray Beach

June 6-9 - NAASC Congress in Cabo San Lucas
July 27-29 - Region IV Summer Golf Tournament Hosted by the Miami Club
November 4-9 - SKAL World Congress in Antalya, Turkey
