President’s Letter

Fellow Skålleagues!
We held our 7th Annual Hospitality Networking Social on June 12th at the Xtreme Action Park in Ft Lauderdale.
The Social was a fun event and we were pleased to have over 25 guests join us including a group of students from
FAU. Thanks to all of the members who donated wine for the wine pull. The wine pull raised funds for the club and
our charities. Several of the guests expressed interest in learning more about Skal and possibly joining our club -
we will follow up with them.
You have received the flyer for Discover the Palm Beaches July 18th Summer Tourism Celebration. Skal will have a
booth again this year at the event to promote Skal and membership in our club. Make sure you put the date in your
schedule and remember that as in the past years they will be collecting school supplies. We will see you there.
