Greetings Fellow Skalleagues!

Fall is here! Matteo’s in Boca Raton provided a great back-drop for members and guests attending our October meeting. A great meal and a time of good fellowship was enjoyed by all in attendance.

The opening toast was presented by Dick Stafford and the closing toast by Carlos Banks.

ANNOUNCEMENT - We are honored to have been named the "Number 2" Skal Club in the World! This honor was announced at the International World Congress in Sydney, Australia. Wayne Lampert accepted this honor on our behalf. Wayne will be back in the U.S. by our Holiday Party, at which time he will present the award to the club.

Special Request - The Board of Director’s requests your response to a questionnaire being sent out to all members re: changing the day of our meeting. Due to the fact that many of our member’s / potential member’s have other industry functions on the third Tuesday of each month, it is recommended that we change our day to the Wednesday of the third week of the month. PLEASE RESPOND BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2010!!

CALLING ALL MEMBER’S!! Plans are currently underway for a great HOLIDAY PARTY - Thursday December 16th at The Bridge Hotel & Resort … We ask your help in donating / securing items to donate for our "Silent Auction" please contact James Hansen. Many exciting NEW items have already been offered and we ask you to help us to get more items. Also, start planning to bring not only your spouse/ guest, but plan to bring other guests as well! We are planning to make this HOLIDAY PARTY the best ever!!
